Confined Space Entry Program Development
GSG was selected to develop a Confined Space Entry Program for the Captain James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center (FHCC) in North Chicago, Illinois.
GSG inspected the entire FHCC Campus to identify and characterize all established structures/spaces that met the definition of a confined space, and identify all existing structures/spaces that met the definition of permit required confined space (PRCS). Where PRCSs were noted, GSG developed and documented recommendations to redesign or reconfigure spaces that precluded routine occupant entry, installed permanent PRCS entry signs, and identified personal protective equipment requirements and engineering controls for each PRCS. GSG also developed and provided confined space training to facility staff and emergency rescue personnel.
